Meanwhile, Vincent has devoured more than half a pound of broccoli all by himself. That is on top of the tomatoes, potatoes and fish... still munching away...

It's all Greek to me...

Had my car at the garage for it's annual check up. Picked it up at the end of the day, Elise and Vincent were with me. The mechanic named all the things they had fixed. 'Why doesn't that man speak Dutch, mom?,' asked Elise. That's right girl, it's all Greek to me too....

Tough

We're getting to the nitty gritty details in therapy (actually these usually are at the base of psychological problems...). Who would've ever guessed I need to let go of my over-perfectionism and stop expecting this of others...?! Sounds simple, but not so simple for me to accept in peace...

First day at work!

Today was my first day at work! Preliminary meeting to get to know each other and brainstorm about the overall direction of the project - it was great! Even greater was the fact that both other team mates mailed the initiator afterwards and congratulated him on 'his excellent choice' to involve 'this intelligent woman'. [And before you'll start hassling me on all this egotripping of late: it's part of my therapy to feel good about myself!, so there!!]
