Simone de Jong is an artist who collects beautiful sentences. They need to be universal and said in passing by. She collects them while listening to others talking on the phone, in waiting rooms, at receptions, etc. She makes them into sculptures for walls and ceilings. Her most beautiful sentence: "Ik hang de was altijd op alsof het een kunstwerkje is" (I always put my laundry out to dry as if it is a work of art)
